SDCE-Top-100-Supply-Chain-Projects-2018

CINCINNATI, Ohio — June 27, 2018  FASCOR Inc., a leading provider of integrated distribution, transportation and warehouse management system solutions, today announced it has been selected by Supply & Demand Chain Executive, the executive’s user manual for successful supply and demand chain transformation, as a recipient of their SDCE 100 Award for 2018.

The SDCE 100 is an annual list of 100 great supply chain projects that showcase how supply chain solution and service providers have helped their customers and clients achieve supply chain excellence and prepare their supply chain operations for success. The list of top supply chain projects can serve as a map for supply chain executives who are looking for new opportunities to drive improvement in their own operations.

FASCOR Inc. was selected for this year’s top 100 supply chain project distinction for the results achieved in partnership with  Bryan Equipment Sales, a leading distributor of Stihl power tools. The winning project aimed to automate their warehouse and shipping operations, improve order accuracy and through-put efficiency, while also helping them to sustain world-class service levels as their business experienced exponential growth.

Since implementing FASCOR’s Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Transportation Management solution (TMS,) Bryan Equipment Sales, has successfully shipped over 5 million power tools and parts. Their warehouse productivity has improved by 68 percent with triple-digit growth and minimal additions to warehouse manhours. Order accuracy has also improved dramatically with an 88 percent reduction in error rates. Additionally, the entire team now has the capability to monitor inventory and warehouse activity in real-time using FASCOR’s WebTools performance dashboards. This created crucial end-to-end visibility throughout their entire supply chain operation, enabling the team to continuously improve upon and achieve daily, monthly and annual goals.

“First and foremost, we want to congratulate the winners of this year’s Top 100 Supply Chain Projects for their successful and innovative projects, which serve as models to companies of all sizes what is achievable in their supply chains,” says John Yuva, editor for Supply & Demand Chain Executive. “Regardless of company size, these projects are best-in-class examples of the types of efficiencies and bottom-line results that supply chain executives should be striving toward in their own operations. Our 2018 winners provide a roadmap for how to get there.”
